A peek behind the scenes into the Acis & Galatea rehearsal room. Sung in English "Acis and Galatea" is directed by Tom Creed, with renowned baroque specialist Peter Whelan conducting the Irish Baroque Orchestra, starring tenor Eamonn Mulhall and soprano Susanna Fairbairn as the thwarted lovers with bass baritone Edward Grint as Polyphemus and tenor Andrew Gavin as Damon. Ensemble includes Sinead O'Kelly, Peter O'Reilly, Fearghal Curtis and Cormac Lawlor. Design by Paul O’Mahony, lighting design by Aedín Cosgrove, costume design by Catherine Fay and choreograph by Paula O'Reilly. "Acis and Galatea" opens Sat 25 March in the National Opera House Wexford, and will tour to Kilkenny, Bantry, Tralee, Waterford, Dun Laoghaire, Limerick, Dundalk Dublin and Navan.
