Opera Club on Tour

Come and join us for the second of our two-series story of opera.

Having travelled from the birth of opera to its high life, join us on the next stage - Opera Club: Luxurious Middle Age to Re-Birth  - from Beethoven to Puccini, journey with us through the time when operas were written that retain their impact, and remain hugely popular, to this day.

OTC Festival Choir Project - BBC Radio Ulster

Catch a vibrant recording of the OTC Festival Choir project on BBC Radio Ulster’s Sounds Classical on Sunday 4th October from 8.30pm.

This project involved creating a choir in a day in Derry city as part of the Festival City of Song and features OTC Young Associate Artist Chloe Hinton (Mezzo Soprano) and a regular performer with OTC, soprano Rebekah Coffey.

Be part of this year's Opera Theatre Company City of Song Festival Chorus on Sunday 27th September in Derry City.

Come and join us for a day of singing. You can be any age and have any level of experience - we just need your enthusiasm and commitment.

You will be working with Greg Beardsell (UYC, Bournemouth Symphony Chorus), Mark Chambers (Tenebrae) and Opera Theatre Company Singers Chloe Hinton and Rebekah Coffey.

Opera in the City An Evening of Opera Arias
Everything you wanted to know about opera but were afraid to ask!

This evening of opera arias is designed to give novice and seasoned opera goers alike sublime singing from the best of Ireland’s young singers. The programme is made up of opera arias from baroque opera to the present day and gives the audience member an experience of opera in a range of styles.

So don’t miss the chance to hear sumptuous opera in an intimate environment with soprano Rebekah Coffey and countertenor David Vivian Russell, accompanied on piano by Roisin McCriskin.

Culture Night Belfast will be held in the city’s historic Cathedral Quarter on Friday 25th September. Belfast’s very own Culture Night will see venues, artists’ studios, galleries, historic buildings, cultural organisations, churches and more throw open their doors for what promises to be a magical event.     The evening will give opportunities to people of all ages to try out many of those different types of experiences that make Belfast’s cultural output so rich. Cathedral Quarter will be totally transformed for the evening as public areas and streets are turned into performance spaces. People will be able to explore the Quarter whilst taking part in free talks, workshops, performances and tours.
